AJ Hinch is an American former professional baseball player and coach. He is currently the manager of Major League Baseball’s Detroit Tigers. Additionally, during his playing career, he had been with the Oakland Athletics (1998-2000), Kansas City Royals (2001-2002), Detroit Tigers (2003), and Philadelphia Phillies (2004) as a catcher.
