BIOGRAPHY
After a short stint in the theater, Bruno Solo started as a theater driver. Having become, like José Garcia , a host on Canal +, he presented, alongside Yvan Le Bolloc’h , Le Top from 1991 to 1993 and Le Plein de super from 1993 to 1994. But it was on M6 , from 2001, the two acolytes reached their television peak with the short program Caméra café .

A pure product of the small screen, Bruno Solo landed one of his first film roles in Tom is all alone (1995) by Fabien Onteniente , a director with whom he would collaborate again on the comedies Grève-party (1998) and Jet Set (2000). But it’s the character of Yvan, in The Truth if I Lie! (1997) and The Truth if I Lie! 2 (2001), which truly gives him the status of actor. In 2003, former Studio journalist Denis Parent made him the disillusioned hero of his first feature film, Nothing but Happiness , while filmmaker Bruno Delahaye entrusted him with the lead role in the film Home Delivery .

In 2005, Bruno Solo reunited with his faithful accomplice Yvan Le Bolloc’h for Espace relaxation , the film adaptation of the sketch series Caméra café . The success was such that a sequel, entitled Le Séminaire and directed by Charles Nemes , saw the light of day four years later. In the meantime, the comedian found a perfect counter-job – Commander Reidacher – in the drama Mon colonel (2006), toured for Mocky ( 13th French Street , 2007) and joined the choral film Bancs publics (Versailles rive gauche) by Bruno Podalydès before venturing into Guyana in 600 kilos of pure gold .
