BIOGRAPHY
Paula Usero García is a Spanish actress, born on October 22, 1991, in Valencia, Spain. She started in the entertainment industry as a child, when at age 7 she became the image for the Famosa doll brand, which led her to participate with other brands such as Sabelma and Zenobia, which motivated her to start taking acting classes. , training at the Actor’s School. After finishing high school, she began a degree in political science at the University of Valencia, taking advantage of free time to appear in short films by some of her classmates, who suggested that she should dedicate herself to acting. She left her degree and studied at the Higher School of Dramatic Art of Valencia, in addition to courses with teachers such as Carlos Marco, Chimo Flores and Luis Meliá, among others. Known for her roles in series such as Velvet Collection (2017-2018) and Amar en tiempo revueltos (2018-2020), Paula met with director Icíar Bollaín, with whom she worked on her film debut El olivo (2016), to work in Rosa’s Wedding (2020), with which she obtained her first Goya Award nomination in the category of best new actress.
