Timothée Chalamet is an American actor. Coming from a line of actors and filmmakers, Chalamet obviously had it in his genes. Timothée Hal Chalamet was born on December 27, 1995, to a French father and an American mother. His mother, Nicole Flender, was a Broadway actress and dancer. His French father Marc Chalamet was responsible for publications for the UNICEF office in France.
Chalamet was raised in Manhattan, New York alongside his sister Pauline, who is a dancer and actress. In addition to his mother and sister who are both actresses, Timothée Hal Chalamet certainly had a large reservoir of creative genes on his maternal side. Her grandfather Harold Flender was a screenwriter, her uncle Rodman Flender is a director while her aunt Amy Lippman is a producer and writer.
Chalamet began doing television commercials and playing roles in small plays, from where he moved on to television shows and small films. When he came of age, he went to the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia Graduate School of Music and Performing Arts and Arts to further his education. After graduating from high school in 2013, he headed to Columbia State University.
However, he found it hard to concentrate on as he only had one thing on his mind, being at the movies. Chalamet has since transferred to the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.

His presence in Hollywood was announced when he had a recurring role on the thriller television series Homeland. Her film debut was on the 2014 drama Men, Women & Children.
