Storen. Hannah graduated from The Westminister Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. Later in 1983, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame. After graduation, Hannah took a Disc Jockey(DJ) job at KNCN in Corpus Christi, Texas. Later, Hannah got a job at Houston rock station as Drive-time Sportscaster and Traffic Reporter, where she stayed for four years.

From 1988 to 1989, she worked as a Weekend Sports Anchor on WCNC TV 36 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Later, Hannah got into CNN as the first female host on CNN Sports Tonight from 1989 to 1992. Then she left CNN and was hired by NBC, where she hosted Olympic Games, NBA, WNBA basketball, National Football League, figure skating, and Major League Baseball. When she presented NBC Major League Baseball games from 1994 through 2000, Storm became the first woman in American television history to function as the only host of a network's sports package.
Hannah was also the host of NBC's The NBA from 1997 to 2002. Hannah then moved to CBS News in 2002 and became the host of The Early Show. Hannah has covered key news events while co-hosting the show, including the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, Super Bowls XLI and XXX8, the 2004 Democratic National Convention, the 2004 and 2008 presidential elections, and the 2005 London terrorist bombings. She later left CBS News on 7 December 2007 and joined ESPN in 2008.
